DescriptionArt Deco pillar concrete monument to memorialize soldiers from the Waialua and Kahuku area of Oahu, Hawaii that lost their lives during World War II, and the Korean War. The monument is capped with a glass and metal enclosure. There are large bronze plaques on three sides of the monument's base. The monument is contained within a low circular concrete wall. Leading to the monument is a concrete path flanked with 17 large shell casings mounted upright in concrete blocks with chain strung between them.
